    Description: The shear viscosity to entropy density ratio ({\eta}/s) of quark gluon plasma produced in ultra- relativistic heavy-ion collisions has been studied from the energy loss of heavy quarks in QGP medium. We have also studied the bulk viscosity to entropy density ratio ({\zeta}/s) and fluidity measure(F) of the medium using the obtained {\eta}/s values. In addition to that, we have estimated the heavy quark bound state potential (V) inside this medium. Our finding of {\eta}/s agrees well with the results obtained by Lattice QCD (LQCD) and functional renormalization group technique.

    Description: The pT-differential production cross sections of the prompt charmed mesons $D^0, D^+, D^{*+}$ and $D_s^+$ and their charge conjugate in the rapidity interval -0.96 $y_{cms}$ 0.04 were measured in p-Pb collisions at a centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The nuclear modification factor $R_{pPb}$, quantifying the D-meson yield in p--Pb collisions relative to the yield in pp collisions scaled by the number of binary nucleon-nucleon collisions, is compatible within the 15-20% uncertainties with unity in the transverse momentum interval 1 $p_T$ 24 GeV/c. No significant difference among the $R_{pPb}$ of the four D-meson species is observed. The results are described within uncertainties by theoretical calculations that include initial-state effects.     Description: We report results on event-by-event fluctuations in mean transverse momentum in AuAu collisions at $$\sqrt {^s NN} = 130$$ GeV measured by the STAR experiment at RHIC. The dynamical fluctuations, $$\sigma _{\langle P_t \rangle ,dynam} $$ is found to be about 1.2 ±02% of the mean transverse momentum for particles in pseudo-rapidity range of −0.5 < η < 0.5 and for the top 6% central collisions.
